A drip is never just a drip
A tap that drips every few seconds wastes thousands of litres a year and quietly stains the basin. A mixer that will not shut off fully, or one that has gone stiff, is usually a worn cartridge or seal, and it only gets worse.
Most tap repairs are quick once we are there with the right parts. We carry common cartridges, washers and O-rings, so a lot of jobs are finished on the first visit.
Repair or upgrade?
If the tap is a quality unit, a new cartridge or seal is the sensible fix. If it is a cheap mixer that has failed once already, or you are sick of the look, we can supply and fit new tapware that suits the room.

Done properly
A tap swap done badly leaks under the bench for months before anyone notices. We check the connections under pressure, fit isolation valves where there are none, and leave the area dry and tidy. Our plumbers are licensed, so the person doing the work is the person responsible for it.

Common questions
Can I bring my own tap for you to fit?
Yes. Send us the model before the visit so we know it suits the bench and the pressure at your place, and we fit it. If we supply the tapware, it comes with the manufacturer's warranty and ours.
Why does my mixer only drip when the hot is on?
Usually a worn hot-side seal or a cartridge that has hardened with heat. It is a repair, not a replacement, unless the tap body itself is damaged.
Is a dripping tap urgent?
It is not going to flood the house, but it costs you water every day and it is a five-minute fix once we are there. Book it in with anything else that needs a look.
