A gas fire gives you the warmth and the look without the wood pile, and it heats a room fast on a cold Auckland evening. Like any gas appliance it needs a service now and then to keep burning clean and safe.
We service and repair most brands, replacing worn parts and checking the flue, the burner and the controls.

Done properly
A fireplace service covers the burner, the ignition, the flue and the seals, with a combustion check at the end. It is done by our own licensed gasfitter and, where the work requires it, certified. Book it before the first cold snap, when the diary fills up.

Common questions
How often should a gas fire be serviced?
Every one to two years, depending on how much it is used. A pre-winter service catches problems before you need the fire most.
Can you install a gas fire where there is no gas?
Yes, on LPG bottles. We install the bottles and regulator, run the pipework to the fire and certify the installation.
Do you supply the fireplace itself?
We can arrange it through the suppliers we work with, or connect and certify a unit you have chosen yourself.
